Daredevil Official Trailer

With just a month left before Daredevil premieres on Netflix, Marvel has released an official trailer for the series. Check it out.

Here are five things to take away from the Daredevil official trailer.

It's Bloody

In this trailer alone, Matt Murdock looks like his ass got handed to him at least 4 times. With this being Netflix, they don't have to adhere to any network guidelines that might have toned down the violence. While it might not be Game of Thrones level carnage, I think the bloodiness of the trailer will certainly be reflected in the series.

Stick Training a Young Matt Murdock

"You know what they call stuff like that? Gifts."

Scott Glenn portrays Murdock's blind mentor and trainer when he notices the boy has "gifts." And here's the young boy with some escrima fighting sticks.

Question of Morality

"Good and evil. Sometimes the difference between the two is a short line.
Sometimes it's a blur. Sometimes you have to do things outside of the law."

It's probably going to be a running theme in the series where both Murdock and Kingpin display elements of good and evil. They both have similar goals trying to make their city a better place. It's just that Kingpin gets rich while he's doing it with his nefarious ways, and Murdock goes traipsing around at night as a masked vigilante.

Avengers Callback

"Maybe if he had an iron suit or a magic hammer...
that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you."

Considering the series happens in New York, Hell's Kitchen to be specific, there has to be some reference to the Avengers. And it's brought up in the nicest and subtlest way possible.

A Lot More Kingpin

The previous teaser trailer barely showed Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin. Here, he's finally shown and Vincent D'Onofrio looks great in it. While he may not have the girth of Kingpin, and honestly who does, I think D'Onofrio's acting chops will more than make up for it. Plus that face just screams Kingpin don't you think?

Excited yet? You can binge-watch Daredevil when it comes to Netflix on April 10th.
