Daredevil Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for Marvel's Daredevil is finally out and it's super dark! Not just in tone, but in picture quality. I seriously had to turn up the brightness on my monitor to see anything... Anyway, squint and watch the trailer below.

With my anticipation for Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man, Daredevil has been completely off my radar. So let's take a closer look at the trailer and see if it deserves to be ON my radar.

With a shot of the Empire State Building in the background, of course this series takes place in New York. Hell's Kitchen specifically. You have to wonder if there will be any mention of the alien invasion from The Avengers.

And Matt Murdock is blind, so he carries a walking cane in case you didn't know.

"Bless me father for I have sinned." As Murdock confesses to a priest.

"It's been too long since my last confession."

Does Charlie Cox make a good Matt Murdock?

This tunnel vision effect might be how they show off Daredevil's heightened senses.

Some general bad things going down.

"I've been preoccupied of late with questions of morality."

That's A LOT of drugs...

Deborah Ann Woll plays Karen Page, a potential love interest for Murdock. You may have seen Woll in True Blood.

Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Murdock's law partner.

Something bad happened, and it looks like Karen Page may have done it. Which is probably why she needs a defense attorney.

Scott Glenn as Stick, Murdock's mentor.

"Of right and wrong. Good and evil." Murdock is still in the confessional. He's apparently got A LOT of sins.

What are these people waiting around for?

Kingpin's extensive collection of cufflinks?

The back of Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin. I kind of think he doesn't look nearly as big enough as he should.

Not sure who this is, but she sure looks scared.

"Perhaps this would be easier if you tell me what you've done." If the priest only knew.

Requisite hero shot on top of a building looking down at the city.

"I'm not seeking forgiveness for what I've done Father. I'm asking forgiveness for what I'm about to do." This is a very forward thinking man. Good long-term planning...

Explosion!

Gunfire!

Daredevil leaps like Jackie Chan!

Daredevil throws someone out a window!

Pretty rain...

Dramatic turn...

To see a blurry Kingpin walking towards you. Still waiting for a clear shot of Kingpin.

This guy should have taken the elevator.

Daredevil is out of breath...

Daredevil may have heightened senses, but he's still just a man. And here he looks like a man who's really hurt.

You can binge watch all of Daredevil on Netflix on April 10th.

And just to be clear for those of you complaining about the costume, this is his outfit from the Daredevil: The Man Without Fear limited series. A far cry from the traditional red costume we're all familiar with. But let's face it, just be glad they didn't go with the original yellow costume. That really hammers home how a blind man cannot dress himself... :P
