Last night's Marvel special titled Marvel: 75 Years From Pulp to Pop! didn't offer any new information regarding any upcoming Marvel projects. It was mainly a history lesson detailing Marvel's beginnings as a small time comic book company all the way to today's media powerhouse. You can find the majority of this information online on the Marvel Comics Wikipedia page, but it was presented in a very entertaining way with the likes of Kevin Smith & Seth Green offering commentary along with Stan Lee and other writers at Marvel.
We DID get a first look at some blink-or-you'll-miss-it shots from Ant-Man.
Here's Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man
The Ant-Man costume!
Paul Rudd as Scott Lang coming up to the costume.
And there were also some behind the scenes shots from The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye aiming for the camera.
Robert Downey Jr. looking dapper as always.
Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch.
Captain America (or more likely his stunt double) rolling off a car.
Mark Ruffalo and Joss Whedon.
The two Chris's having a good time.
And there was also a first look at the new series Agent Carter, with Hayley Atwell reprising her role along with Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark and introducing Edwin Jarvis, the Stark butler.
And here's the actual promo from ABC.
Not sure what to make of the series. It feels a little heavy on the camp but it did remind me a bit of Indiana Jones and Alias. It's only an 8-episode series (for now) so it can't hurt to check it out. Agent Carter premieres in January 2015.
