A few weeks ago, Halo 5: Guardians was announced for the Xbox One. While that's not coming out until late 2015, you can still get your Halo fix on Microsoft's newest console on November 11th when Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches. Yes, it's a re-release, but it's a GIANT re-release. The collection will include all 4 previous Halo games and they all get a bump running at 1080p and at 60 frames per second. Achievement whores can rejoice as the game will come with all new achievements totaling 4,000 in gamerscore. And every multiplayer map, over 100 in total will also be included, and dedicated servers (finally!) will be handling all the mulitplayer carnage.
Halo 2 will get the shiniest upgrade with new 1080p graphics and completely redone cutscenes, much like the upgrade Halo: Combat Evolved got for the Xbox 360.
And to add something new to the package, the game will also include a multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians. So yes, if you're a Halo fan, this is the collection to get. And it'll all come on one disc priced at $59.99.

UPDATE! The video shown at E3 just got released online and here it is. The scene in question is from Halo 2, and features narration by Keith David who voiced the Arbiter. (He also voiced Goliath in Disney's Gargoyles in case you were wondering) It features the updated graphics Halo 2 will have.
And just for reference, here's the original version of that cutscene.
AND, here's the tease for the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta!
