Doctor Who is something I've only recently gotten into and to find out that there were no LEGO sets available was disappointing. Apparently the merchandising license was owned by another toy manufacturer so LEGO had no rights to make any sets or to accept any fan made sets submitted to LEGO Cuusoo. But now that license has expired and Doctor Who is fair game. This is very similar to the process the Ghostbusters set went through. Fans submit their ideas, we vote on them, and then the folks at LEGO decide whether it's feasible to produce a version of the most popular set, like this one. So head on over to LEGO Cuusoo, check out some of these fan submissions, and hopefully we'll get a Doctor Who LEGO set sometime in the future.
Have you ever wondered what the difference was between fusion and fission? Neither have I, but listen to it explained in the most passive-aggressive manor by GLaDOS, the evil artificial intelligence from the Portal video game series and see if you don't crack a smile. Plus you might even learn something.
Post by The Goldbergs.
Goldbergs never say die! And this Tuesday, Adam Goldberg pays homage to his favorite movie, The Goonies with an episode dedicated to the kid friendly, treasure hunting movie. If you've been watching The Goldbergs, you know they've been nailing the 80's feel, and this episode looks to not disappoint. Well, except for the Asian kid always having to play Data. ;) The Goldbergs airs Tuesday nights at 9pm on ABC.
And finally, Bill Murray showed up at the Oscars to give out the Best Cinematography award, and he got in a nice Harold Ramis shoutout. Love ya Bill, and RIP Harold Ramis.
