Promotional photos have just been released for the LEGO Ghostbusters set over at io9. And boy does this set look shiny! Four mini-figs, their proton packs, and an Ecto-1 will be released this June 2014 for $49.99.
In keeping with LEGO, here we have a shot by shot remake of the first Captain America: Winter Soldier trailer. I love how Spider-Man & Deadpool make an apperance. The things you can do with a ton of LEGO and a ton of patience...
Transformers Universe is an upcoming massively multiplayer online game hoping to be released this summer. It looks wicked cool and will be worth a shot if you can indeed play it in your browser for free. You can check out more information on it here.
And finally, Hasbro released images of the upcoming toy line for Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. Here we have an extremely orange Grimlock, who will retail for $79.99. You can check out the rest of the line here, but I must say I'm not a fan of the new one-step transformation in most of the toys. They're simpler than Gobots! I've never been a fan of the movie toys. I only own one, an Optimus Prime from the first movie, and the rest are just meh to me. I guess I'm just a G1 kind of guy and that's where all my money is going.
Are we just making kids lazy or what? Can't be bothered to manually transform your Transformers? Here, just press this button. Voila! Where's the fun in that?
ReplyDeleteThe LEGO Ghostbusters set is sweet. I don't have any room for it but it's just adorable.

Have you seen the Transformer "statues" at Toys R Us? They literally say "Product does not convert." Seriously, what's the point of a Transformer that doesn't transform? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=23324736&cp=&parentPage=search
