Fantastic Four Reboot Cast, And I Got 3 out of 4 Wrong

When I first saw who had been cast in Fox's reboot of Fantastic Four I said to myself, okay, this person could work for Johnny Storm, and this person might fit the Thing, and so forth. Little did I know, Kate Mara was the only obvious casting choice. So can you figure out who is playing which Fantastic Four member?



Kate Mara proves she can play smart in House of Cards, and for obvious reasons will be playing the Invisible Woman. But then again, with rumors of a female Doctor Doom, I wouldn't put anything past Fox. Geek trivia: Mara played Shari Rothenberg in Season 5 of 24 as the CTU analyst who replaced Edgar Stiles.

So I thought Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) would be playing Mr. Fantastic. Nope, he's Ben Grimm aka the Thing.

And I also assumed that Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station) would be playing the Thing, but no. He's going to be Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch and Sue Storm's brother.

And finally, Miles Teller whom I've never heard of will be playing Mr. Fantastic. Yeah, I thought he was gonna be the Human Torch.

Along with some questionable casting in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, the casting directors over at Fox have been drinking some different kind of water than the rest of us. They are clearly going a younger route for this reboot, and compared to the original movies it makes this one look like the Muppet Babies version. I'm just hoping the youth factor doesn't turn this movie into a CW series.
